A gathering for young adults (ages 18-30-something) interested in exploring Truth.
Aletheia meets every other Monday night in Common Grounds Café @ Mount Hope Christian Center. To find out which Mondays Aletheia is meeting, check out the full church calendar HERE.
The café opens at 6:30 p.m. and the group begins at 7:00 p.m.
Why Aletheia?
Aletheia(ἀλήθεια) is the Greek word for “truth.” Literally it translates as “the state of not being hidden.” In our world there are many questions about truth. What is relative and what is concrete? Is truth the same for everyone? This group is not about being spoon-fed what you should believe, but about learning Truth as taught through scripture and engaging in open and honest conversation.
Who is Aletheia for?
This group is not just for church people. It is a place for anyone who is interested in learning more about Truth or the Bible to come and participate. The only limiting factor is the age group, this is a group for those from 18 to 30-something years old.
What does Aletheia look like?
Aletheia is not a church service, it is a place for fellowship over good coffee, teaching with the Bible as the center, and honest discussion.
