Wednesday Nights 7:00-8:30 p.m. Mid-week Ministries will break for the summer months after Wednesday, June 23rd. We will resume again in the Fall. The Adult Mid-week Connection service, led by Pastor Rick, is a time for adults to come together to fellowship and grow. The evening begins with 15-20 minutes of fellowship and food. Fellowship is followed by a time of teaching from the Bible and the service concludes with a short time of worship and prayer. All our welcome to join us for a great time, we hope to see you there! |

Following Jesus is like Preparing for the Olympics . . . In the New Testament the Christian life is compared to the routine of an athlete preparing for competition. How are they similar? The athlete who wants to succeed and the Christian who desires to grow closer to Jesus must live a life of discipline. Discipline may strike us as an ugly word, but the reality is that the Christian who lives a disciplined life is the one who will develop a truly intimate relationship with Jesus. Join us on Wednesday nights as we discuss disciplines that have been practiced for thousands of years and their importance to our lives today. |

Do you ever feel like you need a dictionary in church? You are not alone! There are so many words that we use in "church world" that we hardly hear anywhere else. Words like, "salvation," "justification," "gospel," and "atonement." These words convey key ideas from the Bible, yet so often we hear them used or use them ourselves without being fully aware what they mean. Over the course of twelve weeks we will examine a number of these words and phrases defining them, and explaining what exactly they mean in scripture and what they mean for our lives. |
