David & Marsha McNeely:
Presently we are preparing for our 10th year of the Urban Bible Training Center. This ministry uses Berean School of the Bible material to help prepare Assemblies of God lay people to become credentialed ministers.
David is still working with several ministers in a mentoring relationship. He continues to work the Cambodian Christian community to assist them in unifying their efforts to
reach fellow Cambodians.
We are in the process of developing a ministry that will allow us to come alongside & counsel other ministry couples. Many people in the ministry consistently provide counsel and direction to their parishioners, while at the same time they may be dying on the inside because they have no one to provide them a listening ear and a sympathetic heart. We feel that God has equipped us to provide this service.
One graduate of the Training Center has moved to Atlanta where she is involved in full-time teaching ministry. Another is planning on retiring from the MBTA and returning to Sierra Leone to plant churches. He has just begun the credentialing process with the A/G. Another is the head chef at the Suffolk County Detention Center in the South End of Boston. He is the associate/children’s pastor at New Life A/G in Saugus. Another has recently begun a ministry to reach out to the gay and lesbian community. A former student is hoping to use his training to go home to Cambodia and plant churches.
